Spread the Word - No Hot Pets!

Spread the word:  NO HOT PETS!!!

Check out the “No Hot Pets”
campaign put on by the Ontario
SPCA. If you are looking for a
new avenue to engage your clients
over the summer, this could be a
great way to connect. Originally created and
launched in 2012 by the Ontario SPCA, the
goal of the program is to share the important
message of not leaving your pets in vehicles
this summer. Regardless of what province you
may be in this is a great awareness program
for retailers and service providers to leverage
your business and connection with pet
families to help spread the word.
On their new website, www.nohotpets.ca,
the OSPCA has made all their promotional
materials, posters, pledge forms, decals,
and media release available to anyone who
wants to help. This means you can put
your logo on the material and use it in your
place of business, to educate clients, show
your support for this important message and
encouraging others to go online and pledge
not to leave their pet in a car in the
hot weather. Businesses who are already
supporting this effort are also putting
up special posters in their windows that
encourage anyone who has left a pet in their
car to reconsider. In addition, you can also
pledge your support online and have your
company name appear on the no hot pets
homepage.
PIJAC Canada is very happy to support the
campaign and to help spread the word
about this important message. This is also
a natural fit with our own “Animal welfare is
everyone’s business!” – highlighting the great
efforts pet businesses make to support the
wellbeing of animals and pet families in their
communities. Learn more about the campaign
